Our Medicis vases are handcrafted in France with Savonnières limestone.
Size
Our Médicis urns are 63,5 cm high and 42 cm wide with a 20 cm2 base and weigh 40 kg.
Colour
A slight iron oxide content gives the stone its characteristic blond colour, tinged with beige hues ranging from gray to pink.
Manufacturing, packaging, delivery
The manufacturing, conditioning and packaging of the “Château de Versailles” Savonnières Médicis stone vases are entirely made in France. The mythical limestone stone has a very fine grain, very good resistance to cold and is easy to cut. The stone of Savonnières has been exploited for centuries for the construction, sculpture and renovation of historical monuments.
For European shipments, the vase is placed on a wooden pallet and packed in a cardboard box. For all other shipments, it is placed on a wooden pallet and packed in a wooden crate.
